Novrix Rentals ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our property management platform, including our website, dashboard, and WhatsApp messaging services.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, and authentication credentials when you register.
- Property data: apartment details, booking dates, guest names, and phone numbers you enter into the dashboard.
- WhatsApp messaging data: when you enable WhatsApp automation, we store the phone numbers of approved senders and outbound recipients, message logs, template names, and delivery status. We do not read the content of personal chats.
- Guest request data: service requests submitted through apartment tablets or QR codes (e.g., cleaning, water, maintenance).
- Usage and analytics data: page views, feature usage, and error logs to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Novrix Rentals dashboard.
- To send automated WhatsApp messages (check-in instructions, checkout reminders, follow-ups) based on your configured templates.
- To process and route guest service requests to you.
- To generate occupancy, revenue, and task analytics for your properties.
- To notify you of important account or security events.
3. WhatsApp and Meta Integration
Our WhatsApp messaging features use the Meta (Facebook) WhatsApp Business API. When you connect a WhatsApp Business number:
- We only send messages to phone numbers you explicitly add as allowed senders or outbound recipients.
- We only receive and process inbound messages from whitelisted phone numbers that you configure.
- Message content is processed solely to create bookings or log delivery results. We do not share message content with third parties.
- Meta's own privacy policy and terms of service apply to messages sent through their platform: Meta Privacy Policy.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share information with:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — solely for the purpose of sending and receiving WhatsApp messages via the WhatsApp Business API.
- Service providers — cloud hosting, database, and email delivery services that help us operate the platform (bound by confidentiality agreements).
- Legal authorities — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. Message logs and booking records are retained for operational and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see Section 8).

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords, access controls, and regular security reviews. WhatsApp API tokens and secrets are stored securely and are only accessible by authorized server processes.
